About the Recipe

Rich, flavorful eggs fried gently in savory bacon fat, paired with deliciously crispy beef bacon. An indulgent, protein-rich breakfast that will energize your morning.

Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 3 large eggs (Chicken or Duck)

  • 3 slices beef bacon (choose sugar-free and uncured)

  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste (optional)

Preparation

Cook Beef Bacon:

  1. Place beef bacon slices in a cold skillet and heat gently over medium heat. Cook until crispy, turning occasionally (around 5-7 minutes).

  2. Transfer cooked bacon to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess grease, reserving bacon fat in the skillet.

Fried Eggs in Bacon Fat:

  1. Using the same skillet with reserved bacon grease, reduce heat to medium-low. Carefully crack eggs into skillet.

  2. Cook eggs gently until whites are set and yolks reach your desired doneness (approximately 2-3 minutes). Season lightly with salt and pepper if desired.

Cooking Tip: Cooking eggs slowly at a lower temperature prevents burning and keeps them tender.

Serve:

  • Plate crispy beef bacon alongside fried eggs immediately.

Meat Lover’s Flavor Boost Options:

  • Smoked Sea Salt: Sprinkle lightly over eggs for added savory smokiness.

  • Red Pepper Flakes: A pinch sprinkled onto eggs for a gentle heat.

  • Garlic-Infused Bacon Fat: Add a small pinch of garlic powder into bacon fat before frying eggs for depth of flavor.

  • Browned Butter Drizzle: Add a teaspoon of browned butter to the finished eggs for richness and nuttiness.
